Chick-Ranch has 3 separate units that may be occupied during your stay. Each unit has a separate outdoor area that is for exclusive use guests within that unit. Owner lives on property, you will occasionally see her feeding and/or chasing animals.
Riverside County requires a copy of your ID, signed Good Neighbor Brochure and that all vacation rentals be equipped with a noise monitoring device that measures decibels of sound. There are devices indoors and outdoors for compliance reasons to deter excessive noise. Please note these device do NOT record private conversations, it simply detects excessive noise by decibel level. Tampering or removing this device triggers an alert to property manager and could result in $50 fine if device is taken offline, $250 if damaged or lost. This device can protect you from false claims of loud noise during your stay. Thank you for understanding and complying.
Security cameras in use on exterior areas of buildings for advanced security of guests. They are not directed to any private area.
Another thing to note: Being a working property that needs a lot of staff, you might see the manager, owner, or other maintenance personnel during your stay. Since we do not have their schedule, we are unable to let you know in advance when they will be there. Therefore, we kindly ask for your patience if you do happen to see them.

Our stay at this property was absolutely unforgettable! The setting was peaceful and picturesque, with stunning views of hot air balloons rising over the hills each morning—it truly felt like waking up in a dream.The farm animals were a highlight! We loved visiting with the chickens, roosters, llamas, ostrich, and the sweet farm dogs who made us feel right at home. It was such a unique and joyful experience to be surrounded by nature and animals—it added so much charm and personality to the stay.The home itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch or watching the sunset with the animals nearby, every moment felt calm and special.If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with unforgettable views and a touch of farm life, this place is a gem. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

We went to Chick Ranch for a stay-cation getaway. It was the perfect escape! Gemma tended to every detail and made our family feel like her own. Our kids got to spend time with the animals and learn about their care. We fed them, pet them, tried to corral lose roosters and just bonded throughout the experience. The guest house was spotless and Gemma was very generous, leaving snacks and goodies. I will be telling all of my friends! Thank you!

We were in town for a family wedding, and our family of six stayed in the guest house for 3 nights. It was easy to come and go, and we enjoyed interacting with the animals when we were at the house. We also enjoyed the fresh eggs and grapefruit.

If you would like a quiet, clean and entertaining atmosphere this is your place. After visiting wineries it was nice to get back and relax and have the option for a home cooked meal. Gemma (hostess) was very accommodating to our needs and the animals, including her emus were very warm and well mannered. A must visit.
