Spacious bungalow, great bartender and restaurant food. Staff really trying and really helpful
It’s not really a hotel. The road to the bungalow looks like Beirut in 80. It is just horrible and really risky for the car.

Looks like the photos. Was very clean and comfortable and felt very private. The beach is nice- 1 minute from bungalow and you can walk about 1mile each way to walk in white sand and they provide beach chairs.
The bungalow was modern and clean and the bed was comfortable with nice bedding. The bathroom is large, spacious and well lit. The AC is cold and easy to control.
The on-site restaurant is great. Good selection and expected Bahamas pricing. The bartender, Sammy is a local favorite and is the happiest, friendliest and most upbeat bartender you will find on the island. Even if you don’t stay at the resort…. You can have a pool day at Pascals and have a drink with Sammy.
Don’t get me wrong- if the owners put a little more money into this place it would be a 9/10…. However there are a few things that they 1) didn’t mention in description and 2) are just not OK to not tell guests.
First off…. The bungalows are about 1/4 mile off the main road on a steep sandy road which you must have a SUV to get around the ruts and potholes. I’m not exaggerating…. The road was built out of sand without a foundation so anytime it rains moderately, the road washes out and one morning the ruts were 2’ deep exposing utility pipes. You can’t get out with your vehicle unless they come and fill the road. They do not mention the condition of the road in the booking. Also note that many car rental people won’t rent to you if they know you stay here- or they make you rent most expensive Jeep.
Secondly- the internet is terrible. Like non-existent. This may not be a big deal to some but saying you have internet and having it not able to open a Google page is poor form. Adding insult to injury, one of the rental houses on the property has starlink internet so they could have shared. For this reason alone we would not come back.
Lastly- the power outages. I’m fine with power outages and it’s common on islands…. But not mentioning it in the booking or as a “we provide one flashlight but you may want to bring one more” would have been extremely helpful. We were there 8 days and had 3 outages… one was 13 hours. Which was fine but the batteries died in the provided flashlight so the other 2 times there was an outage we had nothing. The property is removed from any other infrastructures so if there is no power… it really is pitch black.
I would have really loved this property if they had been more upfront about the above issues. But it’s a safety and trust issue they couldn’t be honest about.
