We loved this place - we were travelling with my parents who had been before and wanted to show it to us as my mum loved all the comic touches. Some had gone (for good reason) and the name has been changed but we were pleased to see the essence is the same. Loved the comic theme which is tastefully done. Room was great with a canal view. Bed was very comfy and shower good. My parents room had a massive bath in their room which was more spacious as they paid more. Breakfast was superb and the staff were really friendly. We didn't use the bar as there were so many good options nearby but it looked lovely. The location is fabulous - on a quieter canal but very close to the centre with all its attractions. We'd definitely stay again.
Shower a little slippery on the floor. There could be more storage solutions even in a smaller room but it was OK. Another cup for tea or a longer hot drink would be good and more non caffeine teas (but you can ask for all this at reception). More egg choices at breakfast would be good and my mum who is diabetic would have preferred a sugar free cereal, but the breakfast was excellent overall.

Breakfast was good. The room clean and confortable. The location is great, close to the center, but not croudy.
The shower was small for a regular size person, just that.

The staff was always happy to help. The room was very nice with good air conditioning and a fridge which was essential due to the hot weather. The location was beautiful.

Nice hotel well located within walking distance of the center of the city but far enough out so the noise of the music festival that was taking place during our stay did not reach us.
