The condo we booked was not the condo we stayed in. We booked a property with a nice leather couch and checked into a unit with a trundle bed in the living room.
The unit is all IKEA furniture, had scuffs on the walls, toilet paper holder falling off the wall. The unit is LOUD and bright! Bring an eye mask and ear plugs because you will hear traffic, sirens, and honking all night.
During check in process we had to wait quite a while for someone to help us into the garage and unit.
One of the showers did not have consistent hot water. It fluctuated and at times wouldn’t get hotter than room temperature.
Not at all forth the price we paid! Disappointed.

The property is small but very comfortable for 4 people. Very central, it is easy to walk the downtown. We had communication problems with the admin staff, but the young lady who showed us to the unit was delightful.

A colleague and I were in Toronto for a conference and will make this our go to listing when visiting again.
The property manager was attentive and the unit was exactly as advertised.

The location was near to where we wanted to be at Scotia Bank Place. It was a very busy building at all times of the day and night. The condo itself was quiet except for the traffic.

Great location! Condo was clean, quiet, well stocked, safe. Would definitly recommend and book again.

Minutes from most attractions, grocery and wine stores right across the street. Easy walk to CN tower, waterfront and restaurants. Close to Union station.

The beds are very comfortable and the building is very secure. The down side is the expressway noise. The unit could use another chair in the tv area and some extra closet shelving for unpacking. Overall we had a great stay.

The bedrooms were a little small for adults but the location can't be beat.

The ICE condominiums are an excellent location within easy walking distance of most of the major attractions in downtown Toronto. We could see the lake, Rogers Centre and CN tower from the unit. The check-in process was very rushed and unclear. Underground parking was provided, but we were told upon arrival that we would be unable to move our car in and out for the entire week. This was not disclosed ahead of time and we ended up renting a car to visit friends outside of the city, which was an unexpected major headache. I would avoid a car, if possible, as traffic is horrendous in the immediate area when major events like conventions and Blue Jays game let out. We would have flown into Billy Bishop airport if we could do it over. Also, the couch is as uncomfortable as other reviews have mentioned, watch your tailbone!

Can’t beat the location and the views. Very comfortable and well appointed. Furniture is IKEA type, so not very high end, but comfortable. Very clean and the management is very responsive.

We stayed in the 12 York Street building aka the ICE Condominiums. This apartment hangs off the back of being in a central location within walking distance of the tourist attractions such as the CN Tower. It has little to offer apart from it’s location.
I happened to Google ICE Condominiums during our stay. I wish I hadn’t bothered. Reading news about shooting incidents (one of which was inside one of the elevators), anti social behaviour and criminal activity within the building didn’t fill me with confidence. I’m relieved the issues I’ve raised in this review aren’t as bad as potentially having to dodge a bullet, witness a fight or being scammed during our stay.
Do not book this apartment for 4 people. It would comfortably fit 2/3 people max - not 4 as listed. As a family of 4 adults it felt cramped for us. It’s somewhat misleading of the owner to list it as sleeping 4 people.
The owner needs to give the apartment some attention. The shower needs sorting out, it goes cold after a few minutes. Replace the curtains with some that actually fit the windows. Get the cleaner to clean the windows. Give the place a lick of paint - it looks a bit tired in places. Get rid of the sofa because it’s past it’s best. The apartment overall felt a bit like student accommodation rather than a holiday rental. Not great.

We were in Toronto for a concert. Could not have stayed at a better location! Minutes from concert venue, many restaurants and shopping. Only complaint was host calling me while I’m on holiday to tell me repairman was coming to the condo. Not happy about a stranger coming into condo while we weren’t there and not knowing about it in advance as all our possessions were scattered around. Otherwise, a fantastic stay!

The location and host were wonderful. Couldn’t have been better and the condo size was adequate for 3 people. It would have been a very tight fit for 4.
We would use this again in Toronto.

Overall it was a beautiful property in the heart of the city. We were within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to visit. For the museums and some other attractions to the North, a short subway ride on the PATH with access only a block away was all we needed.
The apartment was nice and clean but it was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures. This isn't completely unexpected in a downtown high-rise but I think it should be noted, any more than 2 people and it would have been a very tight fit. Other than the closets in each bedroom, there is NO room to open or lay out a single suitcase without losing a kitchen counter or dining room table.
The only complaint I have is regarding the management company.
The check-in process and repeated calls made us feel rushed.
The shower curtain in the bathroom was the thinnest and cheapest they could possibly buy. The curtain was also ripped and melted. It would float up and wrap around you with every shower.
There were no additional trash bags under the sink for our 5-day stay.
The guest bedroom had new sliding glass doors but the old curtain rods were not completely removed and the holes from the old hardware were not repaired. One of the blinds in this room was also broken.
The bathroom soaps were so cheap the print was smearing off the bottle before being used.
The only frying pan was badly worn and the nonstick coating was flaking off. It was unusable.
More utensils and silverware would have been nice.

Everything about this property was exactly as expected. One terrific thing about the property that you should know is they have a double size daybed (part is pull out) as the living room couch! There were 5 of us so it worked really well! One bad thing about the property for us was the street noise. We are from the country where it is relatively quiet all night and with the street below going all night it was hard for us to sleep. Another terrific thing was that a property manager met us at the property to guide us to the parking garage and explain where to go. Believe me we never would have figured it out on our own! Otherwise it was clean and a great central place to stain when in Toronto.
