One of the Worst Stays in Budapest. Avoid at All Costs

Great location

This was one of the filthiest apartments I’ve ever booked on this platform. While it was slightly cheaper than other places in Budapest, the difference was not significant enough to justify the conditions. I suspect the high rating (above 8.0) is inflated by bots, it’s impossible for this place to earn such a score honestly. A shady hostel would have been a better alternative. I booked for 5 nights but only stayed 1. I refused to let this ruin my vacation. The room was covered in what can only be described as "generational dust". Clearly, it had never been cleaned or maintained. The mattress was broken, with springs digging into my ribs while I tried to sleep. What I found beneath the bedsheets is deeply concerning, and I’m genuinely worried I might have picked up a skin condition. TV didn’t work because there was no remote. The host claimed it was due to "internet connection issues, so we took the remote and the TV, sorry." Really? The bathroom was absolutely disgusting: smelly, grimy, and clearly neglected. Not even the soap dispenser had been cleaned, which speaks volumes about the lack of hygiene. To make matters worse, it was less than 10°C outside, and the heating wasn’t even turned on. Do yourself a favor: If you’re reading this, keep looking. You’ll thank me later.

Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación, pues estaba a tan solo unos minutos andando del Parlamento.

No me gustó el mal estado del edificio y la limpieza de la habitación, pues daba la sensación de que lo único que se cambió fue la sábana bajera, pero no la funda de la almohada, la sábana de encima ni la alfombra del baño.
