Overall we had a great stay. Location was great. Only thing is the place itself was older and could use some updating. The bed was the first thing you see when you open the door so you could hear all of the noise in the hallway from housekeeping early morning or other guests. The living space was at the back overlooking the harbor view. It would have also been nice to have bottled water provided in the room.

We picked a great week to be in Newport, this was the perfect place to stay. The location was great, very quiet, clean, and the view from our living room window was amazing. We had a great time, would definitely stay there again.

I’ll not return - smelly, old hot - bar connected parking - scary and had no idea it was the dumpy smugglers entrance with a sketchy parking lot Uncomfortable and embarrassed ! Seriously what a rip off!

The view from our room was fantastic. Great sunsets. The location could not have been better. Walking distance to activities (bus tours), shops and great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The place was a beautiful facility. Great location. However, I am very upset at the fact our room was located DIRECTLY ABOVE A LOUD BAR!! This fact was NOT disclosed to me at the time of booking. I was unable to sleep until 1 am EVERY NIGHT when the bar would finally close. This is very disappointing and did ruin part of what was supposed to be a relaxing trip.

Very nice property. Exactly as pictured. Has everything you need. Stayed for 4 nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. Rooftop deck is a plus. Excellent location. Walk to everything in town. Short drive to other attractions.

Check-in was unusual as there was an issue with another party who arrived before us but the Front Desk Manager/Concierge, Sean, handled it extremely well and smoothly so everyone was happy, including us, even though we had to wait a bit. It was our first (and a short) visit to Newport and Sean was very helpful in helping us find things to see and do to make the most of our limited time. It is a great location, in the heart of restaurants and boutique shops, especially if you like to walk. The room and especially the kitchen area were extremely clean. We were surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked and the plates/utensils/pots/pans everything was so clean the kitchen looked like it hadn't been used! The shower floor was stained (not dirty) and the upholstery was a bit worn but everything else was fantastic so it was easy to overlook. Room amenities included dish sponge, dish soap, plenty of drying towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, soap, makeup remover wipes, etc. Other reviewers made it sound like there were none? Thanks again to Sean at the front desk who helped make our visit special! We hope to be back!

Our stay was great. We would stay here again and are trying to plan for another time already. The only small complaint is that the pictures showed a room with a harbor view but we did not get that view but the room was great, the people were great, and the location was great. We loved the rooftop balcony too. The location is right downtown and on the water so we could walk to everything downtown. This property is a great value.

We could not have stayed at a better location. Never had use the car until we left. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room had a great water view. I loved the rooftop deck and having a bar downstairs with a deck. The staff at the Wyndham was very friendly. We definitely come back again.

This property was the perfect place to stay in Newport! Right in the middle of the fun downtown area, next to restaurants, shops, and the harbor. We had a wonderful visit! Our only complaint is that the listing showed water front views, and didn't specify that your view could vary from what was pictured. Other than that, it was wonderful and highly recommended!

Love this place! Stayed here many times (but first time through Vrbo) and it's so convenient to everything in downtown Newport. Rooms are clean and provide everything you need. Wonderful tranquil view of the harbor when sitting in the living room, if you are lucky enough to get a harbor side room. Check in and out was very quick.
