Stayed in a lovely, modern suite for two—very comfortable and remarkably quiet despite its central location right on the town square. The beds were excellent, and breakfast was of high quality, served in elegant surroundings. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the station and adjoins a superb restaurant serving Urquell (not Budvar!) tank beer. It also offers easy access to all the main sights and famous tourist attractions of České Budějovice, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
Only spent one night at the hotel, so it’s hard to make any firm judgments. However, for a longer stay, a few additional facilities—such as a small gym, mini spa, or similar amenities—would make the experience even better

Location is good, although my room didn't overlook the central square
Initially offered an inferior room, with beams so low that you hit your head, and no tea and coffee facilities which I had paid for, only changed the room when I came down and complained. Adjoining restaurant unhelpful so didn't stay. Breakfast mediocre - not sure how they can rate this as 4*.
