The central location was perfect, and being situated so close to the river was lovely.
The house was nice, what I would expect from a rental property.
The house was clean enough but there were a few cobwebs and it could have done with a carpet deep clean but the facilities were great.

This terraced house is situated on a very quiet cul de sac in south York- with steps down to the river Ouse pathway with an easy walk into York one way and the other way into Fulford or across the Millennium Bridge footbridge to Rowntree park on the other side of the river.
There is a designated car parking space behind the property which is great and there is a Sainsbury’s at the top of the street.
The property was clean.
There were several niggles about the property which considering the price per night should be looked at for the comfort of future guests.
The house has a small living area hence the description as “cosy”! It really would be over crowded if four adults stayed there in the two double beds. The tiny living room has only one low uncomfortable sofa with another single bed / sofa which was really uncomfortable to sit on with a solid metal bar across the seat. The TV was unwatchable with pixelation on the main channels and could do with a better ariel. Also the front room and front bedroom could do with frosted window or voile as they are directly overlooked from the pavement and the houses opposite.
The kitchen was tiny but had most things we needed apart from a washing machine - but then there is no space for that!
All the crockery cups bowls plates are chipped and could do with replacing.
The main front bedroom is spacious but both the beds in each bedroom were very low to the floor. There were no plug sockets near the beds to charge phones etc. The back bedroom should really be a single as there was hardly any space for anything other than the bed.
The shower room has a walk in shower. It has a fancy digital control panel which took us ages to try and work out how to use- it wasn’t helped by it being sited nearly six foot high on the wall! An instruction leaflet on the shower working would be handy! Also a handle on the wall in the shower would be a useful addition to help prevent slip hazards!

Access to buss, work to town. Good location kitchen diner was really nice having a dishwasher great and full size fridge freezer
Beds to low second bedroom should have been a single. Chair bed in lounge needs replacing as when sitting on you had an iron bar under your legs, a few more cups would be good and out side furnture in back yard.
