Making this condo unique in the Ferringway complex is the minimal number of stairs leading up to the front door (only 9), the condo is all on one level, and it has a second private deck. Bed Configuration: Bedroom #1 - King bed with full bath and TV Bedroom #2 - Queen Living Room - Sleeper Sofa The Ferringway shared hot tub and heated swimming pool are located a short walk away, and the pool deck has plenty of room for lounging. Also at the pool area are multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space for fun and enjoyment without having to leave the grounds. Easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. Hillcrest Golf Club, Durango’s premier public golf course, is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. POOL IS OPEN MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND. A five-minute drive reaches Historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment. Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes visitors to Purgatory Resort and the high San Juan Mountains. Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West. The Fort Lewis College campus is a 3-minute drive away. Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango near downtown condominium is a great choice to stay in a spacious, comfortable, and cozy vacation rental home. Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. We stayed in this condo as a family of four on a ski trip. It was clean, well appointed and great for being close to downtown for things to do and 30-ish min to mountain. The check-in/out process was smooth and the condo was super nice. We’ve stayed at these units before but in a higher level. This one is on the lower level, which is great for lugging things in and few stairs, bad for noise above you. But the elephants above us went to bed at a reasonable time so we didn’t have to deal with it too much and we really weren’t there much. This unit had everything we needed, nice beds and bathrooms, good kitchen and dining, fireplace, games and even night lights for our little ones. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The condo was as described, very well stocked and in a good location. The property manager was very prompt to respond when we needed additional firewood. It snowed while we were there and it was beautiful. Definitely would stay here again.

Close to everything in town, the fireplace was nice to have, very clean, well decorated! Kid friendly! Beds were slightly hard but not bad. Stocked with everything you need for your stay.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Ferringway rental. It was very convenient to visit my son who lives in Durango as well as everything else in the area. We also enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery right nearby. Coming back in the evening to such a nice place was very relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this to others, and we would stay here again.

Our condo was very cute, extremely clean, and comfortable during our stay in Durango. It was easy to get to town and we did a nice hike from the condo, just walked down the road a bit. Would highly recommend this condo for any visits to Durango!

Property is amazing and has everything you need away from home! I love the first level condo and porch area. Management company was great! It is in the perfect area also if you want to bike or hike or just drive to college to overlook the city! Wow what a little gem!
