“Salt & Battery Portside” is St. John's newest waterfront luxury vacation home that offers guests front row access to the first sun rise of North America and breathtaking views of the city, the harbor and the narrows of the Atlantic. This stylish and modern home is situated where the city meets the sea and is walking distance to everything that St. John's has to offer and more. Sightseeing, hiking, dining, entertainment and shopping are just steps away. As our guests you will have full and private access to this newly renovated and fully equipped home. The open concept floor plan and oversized windows floods the space with natural light and offers undescribable views. With a top-of-the-line kitchen you can have the option to cook at home or sample Newfoundland cuisine at the array restaurants within walking distance. In addition, the third storey deck is the perfect place to sit and unwind all while taking in the breathtaking views of the city, the harbor and the narrows of the Atlantic (out-door seating available from May to October). With 3 bedrooms (Queen Beds) and 2 full bathrooms this house can very comfortably sleep 6. We can also accommodate parents travelling with small children. Pack n Play and Highchair available upon request.

Perfect spot for 3-6 people (you could probably add a baby/toddler too as there is a pack n play and a high chair seat). I travelled alone with two teenagers and it was perfect for us as each kid got their own room/space. Fast wifi. Lots of room to unpack if you are staying a while. Two full baths - both modern, clean and stocked with essentials.Super clean, well maintained and great location. We literally didn't need to bring a thing. I had groceries delivered for breakfasts and we made day trips from the home.We took advantage of the laundry so we could pack light. Felt safe in the area. The living space was comfy - my teen son took one too many naps on the couch!We loved that you can walk right up to and complete the North Head Trail which gave us some amazing views. This includes stopping at Signal Hill and The Visitors Centre if you veer off path a little. It was 8 to Uber back from Signal Hill if you only want to do half of it (one of us was recovering from being sick and tapped out). Downtown is not far you could definitely walk but we had a rental car and getting around was easy.Short drives to whale watching boat cruises (could probably Uber if you don't have a car). We needed to check something with the hosts and they picked up/responded promptly and were very friendly/helpful. Battery Cafe on the corner has yummy pastries, bagels, coffee/tea/latte and sandwiches.
