The cottage is old but has been thoughtfully updated by Sef and Shaan and provides a comfortable and cosy environment when travelling or exploring the area. Our hosts have years of experience in hospitality and serve a fine cooked breakfast along with a good range of cereals, toasts etc. There is also the option of an evening meal which is great when the day's outdoor exploring have sapped your strength.

We booked this cottage very last minute after a few weeks travelling abroad. We had a long drive back to Scotland and wanted to get home as soon as possible, so rather than planning our overnight stops in advance, we were booking places as we went depending on how far we managed to drive that day. We honestly couldn’t have been luckier with this find!
From the moment we booked, Shaan and Sef were wonderfully communicative and incredibly accommodating. We didn’t arrive until around 11:30pm, but they were so welcoming despite the late hour. They quickly showed us around, explained everything we needed to know about the cottage and made the whole check-in process very easy.
We were travelling with our cats, and we really appreciated how thoughtful they were in letting us know beforehand that the person staying next door had dogs. It was such a small detail, but one that makes a huge difference when travelling with animals.
They even allowed us to make our breakfast choices when we arrived, despite these normally needing to be submitted by 10pm. Breakfast itself was lovely, with a great selection including cornflakes, pastries and a cooked breakfast.
The cottage itself is beautifully and cosily designed, spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The beds were lovely after such a long journey, and both the room and bathroom were immaculate. It genuinely felt like the perfect place to arrive after a tiring day of driving.
Our biggest regret is that we were only there for one night and couldn’t stay longer to properly enjoy how cosy and peaceful the cottage was. We would absolutely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Thank you, Shaan and Sef, for making the final part of our long journey home so comfortable and welcoming!

Everything! We wanted a little break from the city and we found the perfect place to relax. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and full of charm, and the owners are absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Our room had everything we could possibly need and even more. We didn’t even feel like going out for dinner, so we ordered food and the owner kindly brought it up to our room for us. Everything was perfect, from the peaceful location to the warm atmosphere ,the vegetarian Breakfast and all the little details throughout the cottage. Shaan y Sef the owners are so knowledgeable about the area and made us feel completely at home. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better stay ,everything was even nicer than we expected. We will definitely be coming back! 🤎
