Wake up to panoramic views of the Puget Sound, stroll the short walk to Old Town and the waterfront, then toast the day's end while drinking in the sunset. Perched on a hill overlooking the Puget Sound, this high-end property is mere minutes away from all of the entertainment and dining offered in the Proctor neighborhood and downtown Tacoma. We can't wait to host you! This listing is for the TOP unit of a duplex. Each unit sleeps six and both can be rented for a total of 12 guests. This tastefully renovated Tacoma property features high-end amenities and a modern vibe. Enjoy a bottle of wine (from the tasting room only blocks away) in front of the gas fireplace. Socialize with guests and enjoy the view while cooking in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances and quartz counters. Enjoy the full en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions, full capacity washer and dryer, and comfortable sleeping space for six guest with a king bed in the front master, queen in the back master, and a surprisingly comfortable full-size hideaway bed in the living room couch. Our home is one of the more updated, modern, and clean you will come across, with great care taken in nearly every detail. You will not be disappointed after staying with us! NEIGHBORHOOD This is by the far the best neighborhood in Tacoma, right in the heart of Old Town and two blocks from the waterfront with expansive views of the Puget Sound. Just minutes from the Tacoma Dome, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, and Point Ruston (with a movie theatre and amazing shopping and dining). Guests can hit the Proctor farmer's market, the fresh fish market on Ruston Way, or explore nightlife in downtown Tacoma. Three are Uber drivers aplenty, the bus stop is within a block, and you can even ride bikes. PARKING Ample on-street parking available, and for persons who cannot do the staircase from the front street, back street parking is also available. INTERACTION Keypad lock with your unique code means no need to interact with anyone, but please don't hesitate to send us any questions you have. Please note that the front of the property is on a main road, and while it's typically not an issue, sensitive sleepers may notice some traffic noise. • Please remove your shoes • No parties or events • No pets • No smoking

I received an update on how to get into the house after booking. When I arrived I was blown away how close this place was to downtown Tacoma. The front living spaces had a tremendous view that just had me sitting back and looking outside while listening to music. The amenities were awesome with great decor, appliances, with places to sit and feel comfortable. Everything in the house felt new, clean and recently remodeled. It was exactly what my friends and I needed for a weekend night away from Seattle.
The owner was super friendly and when I had questions via text about the establishment and nearby areas for recommendations; she was super friendly and quick to answer.
I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely try to get this place again when I come down south.

Not enough can be said about about how great this property is. The place was extremely clean and very well kept. The location was within walking distance of many things to do and see or a very short drive to many of the best waterfront restaurants Tacoma has to offer. The only challenging part was the parking behind the house, but there’s plenty of options to park elsewhere. If coming to the Tacoma area, this is the place to stay, you will not regret it. We will definitely be back.

We loved this apartment! So comfortable, stylish and updated, and we appreciated the AC, since we hit a couple of Tacoma's hotter days. Be prepared for some stair climbing to this upper level unit and maybe plan accordingly with duffle bags instead of rolling suitcases. Well worth it for the beautiful view of the sound! I always love staying in a location where there are nearby cafes & restaurants, and it was an easy walk down the hill to Anthem, a cool little coffees shop bistro, and just a little further to Starbucks and the Spar, which serves breakfast lunch and dinner. We checked out the Job Carr Cabin and Museum just down the hill and happened to hit a weekend when they were running a history walk about early immigrants to the neighborhood. Fascinating! Be prepared for good incline walking back uphill to the apartment! (We appreciated the exercise!) We had dinner at the new McMenamin's at old Tacoma Elks Lodge, which is a short drive away and would highly recommend that. Couldn't leave without a visit to Point Defiance Zoo and Point Ruston, so we had a great weekend! We appreciated the quick replies to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this location!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in a great setting with fantastic views of Puget Sound and Tacoma Harbour.
We stayed over Christmas/ New Year and got to experience Seattle / Tacoma in the unusual snow setting, it was quite the experience.
We can only recommend Bayview Penthouse, we had a fantastic time.

Our stay began with outstanding communication from Bradley. When we arrived, we found an immaculately clean condo with an amazing view. Every little detail had been handled including Keurig coffee pods, salt and pepper, and toiletry items that we might have forgotten. To top it off, the beds were wonderful!

everything about the property was amazing and spot on to the listing. first, the views were spectacular. 2nd the location was very convenient to all of our activities. 3rd the neighbors were welcoming and friendly and full of suggestions. the kitchen was great as we cooked in several meals. we would highly recommend

Loved the location, being close to old town and the waterfront- the condo was somewhat noisy however, being so close to the busy road.
Overall, the unit was nicely appointed, a few stains on the furniture and my daughter felt the bathroom could have been cleaner. It was a comfortable and we had a very pleasant stay
