Once and done

Location wise it’s a 15mins walk to old town. Straight walk, left turn, straight walk, right turn, all the way across the bridge you arrive at the old town When reached out with issues, owner has quick responses ie toilet paper (there was none all 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms), providing washer detergent, water pressure issue, power tripped twice

* Layout: The property is advertised as 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom, while the two bedrooms upstairs share one bathroom. The upstairs bathroom is located outside the main house, so you have to go through an open-air area to access it. * Water pressure: The water pressure was extremely low, particularly on the ground floor where there was almost no usable pressure. We were told someone had come to address the issue, but there was no noticeable improvement during our stay. * Toilet: The toilet tank refills very slowly. In practice, this meant having to wait a significant amount of time between flushes, sometimes close to an hour. * Air conditioning: The living areas are not air-conditioned. Two fans and two evaporative/swamp coolers were provided, but the swamp coolers significantly increased the humidity, so we found them difficult to use comfortably. * Electricity: The electrical capacity appears insufficient for the number of appliances the property is equipped to accommodate. During our two-night stay, the power tripped once on each night. At the time, we were using two air conditioners, two swamp coolers, bathroom water heaters, and two fans, which does not seem particularly unusual for a 3-bedroom property in hot weather. We were subsequently told that the power trips were caused by excessive usage. * Hot water: The bathroom water heaters did not produce particularly hot water. This was less of an issue for us because of the warm weather, but it is worth noting. * Baby cot: The baby cot provided was considerably smaller than expected. We booked the property partly because a cot was listed as being available, but the cot was not suitable for our 1-year-old, who had to sleep diagonally due to the limited space. I would not expect it to be suitable for a larger toddler either. * Water quality: The tap water appeared yellowish.

Our host Vy was so great, she arranged rides and tours for us. The location was amazing as well, just a short walk across the bridge to get to the old town. The beds are nice and firm too just how I like.

We stayed as a family, the place is set up like a hostel with 2 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. We were expecting more air bnb style house. Also there wasn’t top sheets on the beds upstairs which I would have preferred. Everything seemed clean though.
