We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Leonessa Brescia. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore Brescia and visit nearby attractions. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and we especially appreciated that the sheets and towels were replaced with fresh, clean ones every day. The daily housekeeping made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would happily stay here again.
The only downside of our stay was the breakfast. We stayed for 9 days, and the breakfast selection was exactly the same every morning—scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, yogurts, deli meats, and cereal. A little more variety would have made a big difference, especially for longer stays.
Another issue was the coffee machine. From the second day until the end of our stay, it was unable to make hot chocolate and kept displaying a “Non Funziona” error message. Unfortunately, despite this lasting for several days, it was never repaired during our stay.
Overall, we still enjoyed our visit, but improving the breakfast variety and ensuring equipment is maintained promptly would make the experience even better.

The staff at the reception (the young man was very nice). The room was ok too for a 3-star hotel. We did not try the pay-for spa.
The breakfast room is in the basement, with no natural light since the curtains are kept closed and the air conditioning is very strong. The breakfast itself is nothing special – I would honestly recommend going to a nearby café instead.
What bothered us, though, was that while we were at breakfast, two people (presumably staff, though only one was in cleaning attire) entered our room. They didn’t just peek in to check whether we were still there or had already checked out – they actually walked in. When I asked why, they vaguely said they “had to check something,” without further explanation. Later, I noticed that the window had been left open. This was particularly strange, as we were only an hour away from check-out and they could have easily waited.
