Great location, right in the middle of the town, next door to the central market and a large supermarket within 2 min walk. Air conditioning was good. Train and bus station were about a 10/15 min flat walk and there were bus stops and taxi rank outside the hotel entrance. Lots of lovely places to eat within walking distance. The roof top pool was lovely as was the rooftop bar a lovely addition to the accommodation. Probably wouldn't stay again due to cleanliness, but for a one or two night stay it would be ok.
Unfortunately, this was a late booking on our behalf and didn't read all the reviews. We opted for this accommodation over another because of the location and the pool - which worked perfect for us. Unfortunately, the room was not very clean. There was a moldy saucepan in the draw and we had to ask for the microwave to be cleaned. The bedding was clean but had black marks on it as did the towels. The sofa was covered in stains and the bed side table had sticky stuff on it. I had to buy stuff to clean it. There is no safe in the room. I wouldn't have wanted to do a full self catering holiday with the crockery etc. We had to ask for wine glasses. I asked for an iron and ironing board. Only table top ironing board, but nowhere to put it that was near a plug so had to move a table each time I wanted to iron something. Ideal stay for one or two nights, but not for a whole week. Such a shame as the location in perfect, just need to up their cleanliness. Pool wasn't cleaned daily either a lot of debris in the bottom the times we used it. Buses did stop right outside our window and could be noisy, we were up early most mornings as we were doing day trips. Also, rooftop bar is open to 2am so if you are in a higher floor room you will hear the noise, if you are in a lower floor room you will hear the traffic noise.
