Security problems

We stayed at Waou Essence II Los Austrias between 28 November – 1 December, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing due to a serious security issue. On 29 November, the air conditioners were not working, and the property management told us they would send a maintenance team if we agreed. We gave permission. When we returned later that day, we discovered that our newly purchased perfumes (Valentino & Bleu de Chanel, worth about 150 EUR) were missing. Strangely, the air conditioners had not been repaired. When we reported this to the management, they claimed that no maintenance team entered the apartment, which contradicts their earlier statement. This raises serious concerns about who accessed the apartment while we were away. We expected basic safety and protection of our belongings. Instead, we left with financial loss and no explanation. We have reported this issue to Booking.com and are requesting compensation for our loss. We hope the property takes responsibility and improves the security of their units. I do not recommend staying here until these issues are addressed.

Got lucky with BNBHolder's Calle del Carnero Madrid

Excellent communication between BNBHolder and myself...very helpful and accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better location. 12 minutes to Plaza Mayor and 5 minutes to closest city tour bus routes. Wonderful bakery a few steps away. A bit further on and up the hill a perfectly good food etc store. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds.

Since I love to cook I thought the kitchen equipment was a bit sparse...this would probably effect very few renters as most visitors would eat out...and BNB sent a long list of restaurant recommendations. We don't so much as my husband has a hearing problem, the worst being noisy eating places.

- Un olor a desagüe muy desagradable - la cama de arriba de la litera es un timo, ya que las fotos engañan. La supuesta escalera para subir tiene un ancho que no cabe ni un niño y una altura exagerada. total, que tuvimos que tirar el colchón al suelo 😡😡😡😡😡
