About this house rental
Escape the city and unwind at Delaware Retreat, a private, self-contained two-bedroom guest house on a peaceful farm just minutes from Bathurst. Enjoy quiet paddock views, beautiful sunsets and the slower pace of country living while staying close to town.
The standalone guest house accommodates up to six guests, with three queen beds, one bathroom, a kitchen and laundry facilities. Your booking includes exclusive use of the guest house and its designated outdoor area, including your own fire pit—not the main house or the entire estate.
The nearby main house is our family home and is also rented separately, so our family or another guest group may be staying there during your visit. The playground is shared and can be reached without crossing the main house’s private garden. The main house’s pool, private gardens and outdoor shower are not included in your booking.
We’d love to help you enjoy the farm. Animal feeding and stable visits can be arranged in advance, including when another guest group is staying in the main house. Please contact us beforehand so we can coordinate your visit.

Delaware Retreats is the perfect location for anyone wanting to have a great experience in Bathurst. From the moment I arrived Sarah and Pecca were welcoming and ensured that I had everything that I needed. As this is a farm stay, they left food for each of the animals with instructions on how to do this safely. Baby goats had been born the night before and Sarah offered to show me them if I wanted. How could you not take this opportunity up?! I was fortunate to have a cuddle with the cute kid goats. Honestly, I cannot fault this stay in anyway. It exceeded all of my expectations. Hopefully it is not booked the next time I decide to visit Bathurst as I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
