We loved the cabin, it was cleaned and comfortable. We really enjoyed the bath and the bed was amazing. Good location, very quiet and calm, you could hear the birds and insects which we love. Everything was as we expected and needed!
We were expecting a real fireplace but it was warm enough and the fake fireplace did the trick.

The peace and quiet, nature, cabin was cosy
Only 2 things- need bigger coffee mugs! And the lock on the door needs fixing it it a pain to try to open you have to jiggle it around for ages and the door knob looks like it is coming loose.

Location in the forest was very peaceful.
The timber cabin was quaint, but badly in need of maintenance.
We sprayed the cabin for mosquitoes before retiring to bed only to find bull ants coming out from every crevice and crack in the bathroom walls and flooring.
Arriving in the rain it was difficult and quite dangerous to manoeuvre the many pebbled steps up to the cabin.
For the nightly fee we were most disappointed in the limited amenities compared to other accommodations we have stayed in. Just a suggestion, but perhaps a small treat from one of Bellingen’s little stores, e.g. a small jam for guests would go down very well and also advertise for the business.
We did however enjoy the pod coffee machine and the bed was comfortable. It was also good to have Netflix.
