Beautiful decor and very friendly staff. We especially loves the lounge area and the indoor/outdoor feeling on the warm day with the upper windows open.

Very stylish and well maintained hotel. The room was gorgeous, the bed and shower were both amazing. Very helpful and friendly staff, just get tired of the sneaky cost of everything. No-one is up front with costs….had to pay another £200 in various taxes on arrival. It takes the edge off the experience.

Very conveniently located hotel, all the amenities you'd need. Rooms are ultra modern and well equipped. Housekeeping is very flexible so even if you need to sleep in, you will still find your room fully serviced when you get back in the evening. Restaurant/bar has a good selection of food and liquor and friendly staff. Rooms are very very quiet. You won't hear street noise except for occasional emergency vehicle sirens. No internal noise at all.

The Tempo by Hilton is modern, clean, and centrally located to Times Square. Staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous. Decor in room was cozy and pristine. Beds are super comfortable. The control panel next to the beds controls all lighting to room and you can open and close shades electronically. We definitely will return.

The hotel was amazing! One day of our stay, Shakira performed right below the hotel. It is right in the heart of Times Square and walking distance to most things. The staff was awesome at directions and helping us with car services.

The room was way too warm for our comfort. Opening the window didn't cool it down enough, so we ended up turning the air conditioner on, even though it was in the 40s outside.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Alot of reviews say the room wasn't "spacious" but obviously they have never stayed in New York City! It was clean and the service was absolutely amazing! Kudos to the staff at the Tempo! I would absolutely book again in the future when we return to NYC!

I visit NYC almost every year and have never stayed in the same hotel. This is the first hotel I would recommend and return to. The location is perfect for Broadway! Right in the heart of it all. Rooms are modern, clean and quiet! Staff is friendly as well!!

We were impressed with how clean and fresh the room felt - good windows letting in lots of natural light and good views of times square. The gym was good for a hotel gym - cardio equipment, free weights, squat rack, cables etc. I would recommend to anyone wanting a good location in midtown Manhattan.

Charged us $150 to check in early. It was cold and wr fifnt want to wait so we paid it. Room felt small when we walked in. Our Curtains were broken so couldnt close them. We told the maid service they said they would send someone up but never did. Felt like hotel could have been a lot better especially since we spent $1000 for 2 nights. Will definitely try a different hotel next time ..

No idea what is going on in the city but people were in and out of the rooms all night - kids running around screaming at midnight. It seems as though people are living in this hotel and treating it like a playground. Really uncomfortable

Tempo was a great hotel and the staff was very helpful and nice! The room was a bit small for the price, but it had all the amenities you needed and the shower was to die for! The negatives were no microwave, the nightly destination fee and the over priced bar area. Cranberry juice in a CUP not a bottle was $6, a bottle of smart water was $13. On top of that there was a $300 incidental deposit, which 9xs out of 10 you won’t be getting anything back unless you don’t buy from the bar or the snack shop. Overall it was a great hotel, I just feel that for the price certain things should be included in the pricing.

I don't know why they offer Tempo hotel packages in online agencies, because when you arrive at the hotel and they know that you bought your trip on Expidia, they treat the client as if they were worth less, because "they don't belong to the Hilton club." If they don't need the money of those who are not prestigious members of the Hilton club, why do they offer packages? I really don't recommend this "prestigious" hotel, they will treat you badly.

I really hoped this hotel would become my new go-to spot when I visit New York. I've always been a fan of the Hilton brand and this resort is right in the center of all the activity; however, there are just a lot of things I didn't understand. I was in a 2 queen bed room with a friend, but the bathroom door (barn-door style) had no lock, it didn't even have a latch to stay closed. The room is supposed to be a 'smart' room, but it's overly complicated to just look outside and see what the weather is. They give you a $10 credit for every evening you stay, but it has to be used at the bar or restaurant, it can't be used to just buy water at the mercantile.

$8 USD for a bottle of water. Several hidden fees such as a "resort destination" fee of $35 which was nowhere in sight on my reservation (which was supposed to be a fee that included all taxes and fees). The advertised " beautiful lobby "is only available during the day, and is ALL a paid lounge at night (its big so this is ridiculous) so if you want to sit and visit with friends you have a 5x7 foot area near a window that has four seats. Good luck with all of the other guests. Also, that area is next to check in so it's not really a social area. Was very maddening as we were with friends and had no way of hanging with them as the rooms weren't big enough for that. It took 90 minutes to get my car back from the valet. They said an hour which was bad enough, but it was an additional 30 minutes on top of that. Due to this, our friends had to Uber instead of me dropping them off for their flight. That cost them $200. All of that is too bad because it is in a super convenient place and it's a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly. The hotel has great views and the rooms are nice. It's VERY HARD to find using Waze or Google Maps, so you have to navigate via maps yourself.
