We had a wonderful stay at Ayatana, Ooty. Although the property is a bit far from the main Ooty town, the location is absolutely fabulous—nestled amidst lush tea gardens, offering serene and breathtaking views.
The property itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and come with stunning views that make the stay even more relaxing. The staff is extremely polite, warm, and attentive, always ensuring a comfortable experience.
The restaurant service was equally impressive. We opted for the buffet, and the food was delicious with a great variety, complemented by excellent service.
I have stayed in many properties across South India, but Ayatana truly stands out as the best among all.
Overall, a perfect place for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Highly recommended!

The rooms are fine and the location of the property is good. IRD service is good.
Restaurant - The live station management and the general ability to take orders, keep track and deliver it to the table is below par. Spa - Not operational and is not mentioned. Bar - They don't have license to serve alcohol anywhere in the property. In general, they keep making promises and underdelivering - we will have story telling session - never happened, we will light a bonfire - never happened.
