Very charming property. We booked family suite which was very charming, I especially liked tatami room with very beautiful japanese style wooden decorations. It also included kitchen and japanese style bathroom, which included bathtub and shower which was very relaxing. Staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with everything we could need.
In the morning we received japanese style breakfast which they serve in their restaurant below rooms. We got japanese egg omlet, grilled salmon, claypot rice, miso soup, pickles and buckwheat tea. It was delicious!

Very peaceful stay in the centre of matsumoto
Staff was incredibly friendly and the servicd was great for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was great, some of the best we had during our trip.

Well situated to the castle and shopping street.
Old and outdated. Not quite the cleanliness standards we have experienced in Japan as a whole.
