About this house rental
Leave your worries at home and come unwind at Vilano Beach Bum! We outfitted the house with your comfort in mind! Enjoy the downstairs open floor plan, ideal for gathering. The kitchen is spacious with a large island. The backyard is paradise with an expansive deck. This is an ideal location - 7 minute walk to the beach, 1 block to the intercostal waterway, just across the street from the famous Cap's on the Water and a 10 minute drive to beautiful and historic downtown Saint Augustine!

The property itself is top-notch. Very up to date and clean, with above-average supplies. Be aware that it's a bit of a walk from the nearest beach access (no parking) if you have small children or older adults, and there is almost no parking in the streets in the area. They do have bikes on the property for those who are of an age-range to ride them. There are some very nice public beaches with parking about a 5 minute drive away, though. The area itself is amazing. Beaches are great (and clean). Good surf. And this property is right across the street from one of the best waterfront restaurants in the area. There was one problem we ran into while staying but the hosts were on top of it (as, within an hour or so) and got it resolved quickly. Kudos to them.My only knock against the property (not enough to deduct a star, since what you see is exactly what you get) is that comfortable seating is limited. There is a sectional couch downstairs, but collectively the entire upstairs has one task chair, even though there is room for more. Would really benefit from having a couple of love seats or easy chairs scattered about.

Thus is the second time we have rentd the Vilano Beach Bumhouse it was clean and well stocked. The location is great. You can walk across the street to a favorite restaurant of ours, Caps on the Water. Grocery shopping is a short drive, plenty of fun things to do nearby. TPC Sawgrass is not far. Or, take a short walk and be on the beach. The house is peceful and relaxing. The beds are comfy. Someone in our group said she was shocked at how long and how well she slept ( she normally doesn't sleep well). We would definitely rent it again.

Perfect house for a big group/family trip. Truly enjoyed our stay here. House was as described and seen in pictures. Amanda was very responsive and always checked in. Plenty of amenities to make your stay even more fun. Looking forward to our next stay!

Everything was great! The house was large and spacious! It was a perfect setup/layout for gathering with family. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. We went to Caps on the Water for lunch one day and had drinks and appetizers there another night. It was nice not having to drive anywhere. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.
