During your stay at Home A Wave, you will have 100% full access to the entire houseboat. This means you can make yourself at home and enjoy all the amenities and spaces available.
Getting Around:
Getting around from Home A Wave is a breeze. The property is easily accessible via Highway 17, with public buses servicing the area regularly. Ride-sharing options like Uber and Lyft are also available. For local attractions, consider walking or renting a bicycle. For further exploration, car rentals or taxis are a good choice. Boat rentals are also available for waterway adventures.

▶We are happy to accommodate small dogs under 20 lbs. This guideline helps us maintain cleanliness and protect the condition of the property. A non-refundable pet fee of $125 per pet per stay applies only if noted at booking. If not, we’ll request the fee manually. Pets outside the size range or undeclared may incur a $250 fine.
▶ NO SMOKING: This apartment is strictly non-smoking. Any evidence of smoking will result in a $250 fee.
▶ QUIET HOURS: No disruptive parties or events, regardless of size, are allowed. Please respect our neighbors and keep the noise down after 11 PM.
▶ NO FURNITURE MOVING: Please do not move any furniture in the apartment. A $250 penalty will apply for any violation of this rule.
▶ We are happy to accommodate small pets at our property. Similarly, please close and tie the umbrella when not in use to prevent any wind-related damage. Keep in mind, it can get quite windy at times.

Great stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Easy check-in and a perfect location for visiting family in Pace Island. We’d definitely come back—highly recommend!

While the cold weather didn’t fully cooperate, the owner communicated with on how to turn the heat on. The accommodations were comfortable. The view was incredible. The upgrades were awesome. We hope to return to fully enjoy the water. This was a very serene and restful experience for me and my husband and our Shi Tzu.

First, i want to say that the unut is absolutely adorable and the hist seemed very kind and responsive. I cant give this stay 5 stars for two reasons: 1) it seems as though the black tank has not been maintained properly and the smell was terrible the entire time we stayed.2) the main toilet kept popping the outlet into which it was plugged and had to be reset every time it was flushed. Sometimes I had to reset it several times before it would flush all the way. I understand why these issues couldn't be fixed while I was there, however, the host's response was somewhat flippant and was basically, "try flipping the breaker" This was extremely frustrating and took away a lot from my enjoyment of my stay.
