Lovely, enthousiastic host who really puts her heart into it. We were not sure if we were going to be on time for the arrival (before 20.00) but this was no problem. Everything was sent to us for self check-in. The room was very modern, the breakfast was perfect, parking was easy to find in the neighbourhood.
Be aware there is a 15 min walk to the center of Ortigia, but there are a lot of dining places in the neighbourhood. We recommend Astrattu (2 min walk).
Detail: As in a lot of Italian places, the toilet does not always flush properly.

The apartment itself is so beautifully furnished. There’s a lovely little terrace too where you can enjoy breakfast or a little wine if you fancied.

Everything ! It was beautiful , the room, and the the overall internal space. Very calm and relaxing, wonderful architectural features, decoration and ambience

We stayed for 2 nights at Ortigia’s gate. Stefania is a wonderful host - from meeting us personally on the night we arrived (late at night) to offering restaurant recommendations and even leaving a bottle of Prosecco for us for our wedding anniversary. The accommodation is exquisitely decorated. Location is great too. We definitely hope to go back and stay again!
