Very convenient for everything. Next to train and bus station. Within walking distance of Ortigia island.

The location can' be beat... directly across from the rail station and about an easy 20-minute walk to Ortigia. This is not the Waldorf, but has every comfort I could wish for in an Italian hotel on this budget. Air-conditioning, TV, well-lit, good water pressure.. The breakfast is a minmalist affair of good coffee, and Italian croissants. The lovely lady on charge of the breakfast made my coffee every morning toe my specifications. The staff without exception are as friendly, and helpful as can be.
If you happen to stay here, do not make the mistake that I did. just around the corner from the hotel you will find the bus terminal. You will find the bus 110 (Periplo di Ortigia) which does a loop of Ortigia if you don't feel like walking there. There are also buses to Catania airport, Noto and other destinations that are cheaper, more reliable and more frequent than the trains.
Excellt place to stay in Siracusa all around.

mold in the bathroom and corner of the room, grease stains on the bed, low quality hairdryer, plastic tile stickers on the bathroom walls. very noisy due to proximity to the train station
