The grounds are kept beautifully, the staff were wonderful (friendly, welcoming and helpful - especially Shane and Asher), food and drink excellent, lovely room with garden view. They have renovated it well and yet kept the Portugeese character.
I only wish I could stay longer.

Absolutely beautiful building packed full of antique furniture. Incredible grounds and pool. Lovely restaurant and bar.

The beautiful building and gardens
Food was limited, especially breakfast.
staff struggled to understand you so therefore not most helpful and didn’t inform you of A lot, e.g music nights you’d need to book for.. we weren’t told anything was on at all so went for dinner and was told we’d have to go out or eat in our room
