We were there for a short stay, but after a long day of driving, it was a great stay. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the continental breakfast is just what we needed for our drive back home.

We were in for only a few hours, but this place was so empty, and creepy. We loved it. We did see one other car when we arrived, and two when we left in the morning. I wish the restaurant and tavern were open when we stayed. You can feel the gistory in the area and building. I wish we would have had more time to dig in to local history.

Beautiful historic inn, our only complaints were that our room was along the busy highway and it was loud, the coffee from the pods tasted burnt, and the breakfast was quite bare-bones (somewhat to be expected as it was continental). The fan blades also had a thick layer of dust. Other than that, everything was clean, well-kempt, and cozy/comfortable. I will say we got our hopes up when we saw the sign for a gift shop on-site--there is no gift shop,
