The location and views where amazing, beds very comfortable, the cottage has everything you need, cottage very spacious. very peaceful, and the views out the lounge window where ever changing and beautiful.
The cottage wasn't very clean, the interior very dated and worn, the sofa was very uncomfortable and filthy. really needs changing! wifi was very hit and miss when it worked. but 4g on sky mobile worked well.

The cottage was in a great location with beautiful views. It was easy to find, and only 15 minutes from the shops, which were really good.
We had a slight problem with bluebottles for the first couple of days in the kitchen, but we just kept putting them out until there were none left. Apart from that, it was fine.

Die Lage ist sehr beeindruckend! Ausblick vom großen Wohnzimmerfenster, aber auch nach hinten sind herrlich. Parkplatz vorm Haus. Wohnung ist groß, wir waren zu zweit, benutzten nur eins der drei Schlafzimmer. Einrichtung alt, teilweise geschmackvoll. Gut zu heizen. Supermarkt, Tankstelle, take- away- gastronomie 15 Minuten mit Auto. WLAN gut.
Die Wohnung war oberflächlich sauber, aber unterm Sofa und in den Ecken...
Schade!

This was a self Catering option, so we took our own food and drinks with us. So no issues here. We chose this property solely for the location and the views which are of course fantastic anywhere in Scotland.
The location of the property was perfect, easy to get to, and the view from the Livingroom was worth the drive.
The house itself can cater for up to 6 people, although we were only there as a couple celebrating an Anniversary. Maybe for 6 it would be better value for money, but for 2, it needs a bit of work done to it.
Unfortunately, although the house had plenty of old World atmosphere with the furniture and books which we assume were supplied/left by the owner, and there were enough items like washing machine, dryer, dish washer, hoover etc, with the hoover being the only one we needed to use.
The disappointing issue we had was with the cooking utensils, the cooker, the microwave, and pots and pans. These could have, and maybe should have been checked and left much cleaner than they were.
As we wanted to travel a fair bit, we only managed to clean what we needed to use before & after use. So we haven't been able to contact the Owner - or the Letting Company - but perhaps either (or both) need to review some of the remedial work that needs carried out to the Building Fabric & contents.
We also did ensure we left the place slightly better than we got it, which is always our aim wherever we stay.
