Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect in gorgeous Gion and a short walk to the station. We enjoyed restaurants close to the hotel (so many) and great coffee too!

The staff are wonderful and the beds and rooms very comfortable. Easy access to 2 subway lines. Laundry was an unexpected bonus.

This boutique hotel is an oasis to come back to. The location is extremely convenient with a 7 eleven next door and walking distance to everything, ample restaurants close by. It is very quiet even though you are in busy Gion. The room layout is planned thoughtfully with a bedroom you can close off, lounge area, seperate toilet and seperate shower. Plenty of room for luggage, a microwave, kettle, iron, cutlery, bar fridge, glasses and mugs. Also a washing machine near reception. We are a married couple and my husband is 6’4 and there was ample room for us both. When we travel we always struggle with his comfort and had no challenges here. We actually liked it so much we stayed and extra two nights. Highly recommend Miru Gion.
Slight smell in the hallway but we were there in summer and they were doing their best to sort it out. It really wasn’t bad though and no smell in our room.
