The accommodation is in a delightful wooded location on the banks of a small loch covered in water lilies. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, well-equipped and clean. Anne is a delightful and very helpful host who responds to messages quickly. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this charming hide-away, situated conveniently close the the NC500.

Location was perfect for our plans and having direct access to the loch and the scenery was beautiful. The area was so peaceful with no traffic noise nearby. The kitchen has everything you need to make it easy for your stay, you only have to bring your own food. And having a dishwasher was a bonus for us on holiday! Anne provided extensive information with nearby walking trails and activities which we will definitely do when we hopefully return in the summer.
You have to park outside of the entrance gate as there is an ongoing fued with the house on the grounds, however you can briefly park next to the woodcutting shed to unload your belongings for your stay. Unfortunately we didn’t have any heating or hot water until late on the last night of our stay, I believe we were the first visitors this season so it literally took over 48 hours for the lodge to heat up. Anne was amazing though and arranged for one of the locals to come and see to the boiler as soon as she could and also provided lodge 2 for us to have a warm shower. If we had the heating and hot water I would have happily gave this accommodation 10/10.
All in all, was a great stay and we will definitely return. Thank you Anne x

Breathtakingly beautiful location. Lodge looks out onto a small loch, is peaceful and out of the way yet within walking distance of Drumbeg stores and the hotel.
The stairs to the bedroom mezzanine are awkward/tight and a bit slippery.

Prachtige locatie aan een Loch. Goed bed. Drumbeg heeft een goede winkel, tearoom en hotelbar.
Dit was onze duurste accommodatie in vier weken Schotland….
De eetkamer stoelen zagen er mooi uit maar niet functioneel
Realiseer je dat deze accommodatie aan een heel nauwe, bochtige weg ligt. Als je de omgeving wilt verkennen, kost het tijd om ergens te komen
