Beautiful sea views from the house. Comfortable and clean home, we really settled into coastal life. We used the house as a base for walking the SWCP, returning each day.
Great facilities for cooking, plenty of utensils etc. Lovely welcome goodies- cake, wine, milk, biscuits. Good communication with Peter the owner before arrival and easy to access the home.
Very peaceful location, great to wake up and open the curtain to see the sea! Good parking.
Beach is 5 mins walk away, steep climb back up to the house, but worth it! If you want to walk to Charlestown, it’s about 30 mins, can walk along a flatter footpath/bridleway rather than walking down to the beach and up the otherside- just head left out of the house and walk along the road, you’ll see the path signposted.
All was good, but just to say you do need a car. We struggled to get about relying on public transport alone, had to park up in St Austell to catch buses and trains.

Great quiet location, walking distance to the beach, nice 30 mins walk to Charlstown. Very good spot for travelling to other Cornwall attractions. Nice and tidy, well equipped house for family holiday.

Everything, the rooms were all spacious. It was very well equipped with all that you could possibly need.
I think the only downside was it didn’t have a proper garden.

The house was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The hosts were helpful throughout right from the point of booking up until checkout.
They also left some nice little personal touches like a bottle of wine and snacks.
The location was nice and peaceful, but only a 5 minute drive from everything you needed and also quite central to get to some lovely little towns in cornwall.
There was nothing we didnt like
