Very nice people, loved the ducks, cows, and sheep. Great restaurant and comfortable bed. Beautiful views.

The location is a little remote, but it was beautiful. Having the restaurant and hot springs right there was fantastic. And the rooms and settings were so charming! And the food was absolutely wonderful. They also had a fire each night, a sauna, and some ducks and animals around the area - which all helped create a great ambiance.
There's not much that I knew of to do in the area around it - but that was perfectly fine since it was a great property to spend time at. And there was a gas station (pumps only) nearby which was important for me.

The property was gorgeous, our dinner was delicious and the hot springs / locker rooms were fantastic.
We booked through booking. com and were unaware of all the extra charges. You had to pay extra for the hot springs and were expected to pay this fee each time you used them. (We stayed at several other locations and as a hotel guest were not charged to use the springs no matter how many times we used them). As for the staff, frankly they were not very welcoming. It felt as if they had an attitude like they were doing us a favor to help us. And be warned. The bed in our cabin was a full size mattress which was not at all comfortable for two older adults. Had we known the bed was so small we would not have booked this location.
