Breakfast was good but it might be an American thing, I missed oatmeal with berries or raisins.
I loved being able to stay on the ground floor. That was very convenient.
There was not really anything.

It was modern, super-clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed and a good breakfast, right by the bus stop and close to the waterfront. Close enough (say 20
mins walk) to the heart of the city but also had sufficient good eating options nearby including a reasonably priced food hall.
Nothing. Not a complaint but it is modern/functional rather than characterful and some people might find it a bit out of the centre.

This was the first hotel we stayed at and it really surprised us with how nice it was. The room was very stylish, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The breakfast every morning was excellent.
The shower had no door or curtain and while this may be stylish it was impossible to shower without getting water everywhere.

Right across from bus stop 12. Clean.
I know Iceland is expensive, but this felt like a budget hotel for a luxury price. I booked late and there was minimal inventory in Reykjavik so my options were limited. Very pricey for the level of accommodation and lack of amenities. Okay breakfast. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Lots of tour/cruise groups.
