We genuinely had a perfect stay. The house is beautiful, immaculate and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. The decor is superb! The location was lovely — quiet and peaceful, while still having plenty right on the doorstep.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even came for a chat when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. The laundry facilities were a fantastic bonus and very helpful during our stay, and the hot tub was absolutely wonderful to relax in after a day of walking.
Everything was thought of, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this property!
My only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!

A beautiful property with everything you could possibly need. A real home from home. Great base to explore NE area of the NC500. The hot tub was great to use after a day of exploring. Would highly recommend to anyone. We stayed as a family of 3 with a small dog. So much space could easily accommodate 6

Spacious yet cosy at the same time, had all the amenities you could possibly need and then some. The location was quiet but accessible and the owner came to say hello and was lovely and helpful. The beds were super comfortable, the shower was warm when it needed to be and the kitchen was well stocked.
There really wasn't anything not to like about the cottage. My only thing was the tiny fridge but it was so cold outside we put all our drinks at the back door so no big deal!
