The hotel very clean and luxury

The rooms were decently sized with a large tub in the bathroom. We loved that they used Byredo brand soap and lotion. The view was beautiful and bed was comfortable! The reception and lobby staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. We also really enjoyed their jazz nights at ROGUES bar. The singer and pianist are an incredible duo! Cocktails and mocktails were great too!

We originally had two rooms next to each other, but when checking in, one of the rooms weren’t ready. So we took a room on another floor. As it was the afternoon, we went out to explore the city. When we got back after dinner, the hallway outside our room was a disaster. Turns out we were snuggled in between two rooms with the same family. They parked two strollers right outside the rooms, with trash thrown everywhere. Dirty dishes placed outside, just complete chaos. The hallway was a complete mess, not to mention the constant screaming and yelling on both sides. Rooms were definitely not sound proof. We had to switch rooms immediately and staff were quick to move us to another room! We would advise the staff to not allow strollers and trash be placed in the hallways. We understand it is completely the guests fault. Perhaps a stricter policy should be in place to avoid this from happening again. Also to please ask noisy guests to refrain from disturbing others. Bear in mind, it was around 11pm at this point. The BTS station isn’t really close to anywhere we wanted to go. Some spots took over an hour by train, so that defeated the purpose of staying near the station. We ended up just taking Grab everywhere. Breakfast was busy and on one occasion, staff asked us to change to another table because another guest reserved it. We didn’t know reserving tables was possible. That was confusing as one staff told us that table was available, hence why we sat down. The breakfast is unorganized and orders were taking forever to come out. They eventually had to extend breakfast hours and leave out extra scrambled eggs and fried eggs, as the kitchen couldn’t handle a full house of orders. So that was truly disappointing and not expected from this hotel. I did not feel well after one breakfast, so I believe they switched my coffee order, to normal cow milk instead of what I ordered which was plant base milk. Not a great way to check out of the hotel with a stomach ache.
