Wonderful location!

Curtain was broken, not fixed before we arrived. No staff around.

The unit was large, modern, bright and clean. The location was perfect! So close to the beach plus an easy ride to Salem. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans. The ice maker was a life saver. The master bedroom was very spacious. The bathroom was well stocked. The washer and dryer was handy for dirty towels. TONS of closet space. We stayed late in the season so we didn’t hear any neighbors. Living room furniture was comfy.

The towel bar and shade in our bedroom were broken. The coffee pot was inoperable. We didn’t figure this out until 6am when we were rushing to get on a boat. Someone had replaced the carafe of the original pot with a very small glass pot. When I texted the owners, I had to send a video, a photo was not enough. That was a large inconvenience when in a hurry and video is too large to text or email. However, when we returned, a new tiny 5 cup coffee maker was waiting for us. We were very grateful, but we found our room unlocked. The china coffee cups were chipped and dirty. Thankfully there were plastic ones. The rug in the big bedroom was curled up and a tripping hazard. The ac unit in the large room was not functioning properly. We were able to open windows thankfully as we stayed late in the season. There is not any kind of night light available to make walking from the master bedroom to the bathroom accessible. Even the light over the stove did not work. A manual for how to work fans, WiFi password, and local recommendations would go a long way. Lastly, the bed in the smaller room was way too hard for our liking. We realize this is personal preference but it did make our stay uncomfortable.

Location, location, location! Additionally the staff was very responsive and attentive when reach out with a request or need.

We stayed in a different unit last year and loved the location, it is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the beach.

I think a deep clean needs to be done on this unit. Bedroom doors were filthy with black marks, bathroom sink needs to be cleaned inside as there is sludge inside the hole where water goes down, I also observed pink soap scum buildup on tiles in shower (bacteria) The towel bar was ripped off the wall, some patching could be down. The air conditioning was set at 63 degrees in bedroom, when I shut it off it did not come back on, from there I notified property manager and was sent pictures on how to fix it myself. luckily my husband was visiting for the day and could figure it out, but remainder of stay cold air constantly blew on us in the living room area. It also said in my email a few days before all instructions would be in my booking app to check in, well that was not the case, they were in my email which was hard to find seeings how WiFi is spotty. We could have checked in earlier to our room which they could not accommodate, I had to call after 4pm, as I was told they were Emailed to me. I don’t believe I will be using this unit in the future, which is a shame because we loved the property the year previous, with a different unit, not sure if all the units are owned by different people? I would book the previous unit and not this one. I also believe the discounted rate was a lot of money but was told due to the time of year, again we got a fabulous rate the year prior and that’s one of the reasons I returned.
