loved the location, but will not book this property again. Wifi is a must when booking a house.

the location and veiws were amazing

There was no Wifi, there was no air con, and the fans in the property didn't work, or didn't work properly. There was limited screens on the windows, so couldn't open windows to let air in as mosquitoes came in. There was a water leak (this was mentioned to hosts on arrival) but the leak was from the hot water, which made the gas run out within a few days, consequently there was no hot water for the remainder of the days. This was mentioned to the hosts who said they would get someone to come and look at it, not sure if someone came, there was ants everywhere, in bedrooms and living areas. I'm sorry for the bad review, but I think with some simple easy updates, this could be a fantastic property.

Worst stay, don’t recommend

not kid friendly. It’s more than a 1 Minute walk and kids had to cross busy road. Unable to get through driveway along yarrong rd, no use of garage. No fly screens so kids were eaten alive by insects & spiders. It was dirty and mouldy, rust everywhere and cockroaches. Couldnt use fan as its was full of dust and dirt. Key selling feature is this gorgeous fire place - Can’t use it as it’s out of order. So don’t book during winter. Ages of kids we couldn’t even use bedrooms outside for security reasons and safety plus no fly screens to help with keeping insects outside. Overall it was a terrible experience yet we could have stayed at Clayton’s for same price and had better facilities and less than a 1 min walk to cylinder beach. Simple things like there was a Picture of a hammock in ad and that wasn’t there- kid were excited for that. There was dust, dirt and a mould smell. Shutters were closed the whole time but there is opening above the frame which all bugs came through. These shutter windows were the one right near the beds. The main house we couldn’t use fan provided for ventilation as it was rusted and dirty. Not worth the money we spent.

Exceptional!

We loved our stay at this property! It is in an excellent location, close to the main pub, has great views, and has lots of space for our group. We especially loved hanging out on the deck!

It was very hot on our weekend stay here and we struggled a little bit in the tree house room without aircon or a fan but still a great spot to stay!

We loved our stay at this property! It is in an excellent location, close to the main pub, has great views, and has lots of space for our group. We especially loved hanging out on the deck!

It was very hot on our weekend stay here and we struggled a little bit in the tree house room without aircon or a fan but still a great spot to stay!

The quirkiness of it! The whale watching / bedroom tower was absolutely incredible. The rooms were so unique and the views were just the best.

Nothing! Would have loved a third bedroom in the whale watching tower haha. WiFi would be handy but not essential.
