Bon rapport qualité prix

L'auberge est placé sur une très belle plage. La nourriture proposée est très bonne et on peut payer par carte. Les dortoirs sont corrects avec de très grands casiers et rideaux.

Pour un dortoir sur une île, j'ai trouvé ça relativement propre mais ne vous attendez pas à une propreté extrême.

J’avais hâte de partir

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est pratique

La gérante, ils ne veulent jamais te rendre service .. tout à un prix et ils te voient comme une porte monnaie.. j’ai étais trop déçus, car il n’y avait pas souvent de l’eau donc j’utilisais celle de l’hôtel de à côté… pareille pour les toilettes souvent remplie d’excrément..

Beautiful location and great staff

Amazing location right on the beach front, plenty of seats and hammocks to chill out in. The local staff are absolutely amazing and full of such contagious energy! Lots of activities happening so easy to meet new people!

Thanks to the Monkeys

Great place to live the simple life by the beach. My private bungalow was very simple, but exactly as expected, and very clean. Appreciated the social activities organized everyday. The staff was always friendly and helpful -- thanks to Lauren and Nami and everyone else whose names I don't remember. It's not fancy but it's a wonderful hostel, a great choice for beachside fun with a social life and no frills. Enjoyed having lots of common areas to hang out, relax, make friends, enjoy the beach. Also the beach here was GREAT, very clean compared to other beaches I visited on the island.

Food from the restaurant was not too great. Usually they got my order wrong on the first try, and even when correct the food didn't taste good. I did enjoy the Green Goddess salad. Breakfast was so oily and rubbery (eggs and hashbrown) I couldn't eat it (but the staff was always so nice!). The hammocks on the private bungalow porches are hung too low so you cannot use them at all. Your body will sink flat to the floor even if you are a toddler. Please fix the hammocks or switch them out for for chairs.

This is definitely a party hostel

The beach is very close, the common area with the restaurant service is nice. Some of the staff members tried to be nice. The toilet/shower areas are okay and quite clean. Great for people who want to party, drink, meet new friends and just chill.

Was my own fault that I didn’t understand I booked a party hostel. The party on the common restaurant area / beach is not a problem at all, that’s great actually, but the room was the most hiddious thing I could have imagined. The guests in here were careless, dirty and drunk, which is not a fault of the hostel, but I’m sure the party concept attracts these kind of people. The floors are full of people’s stuff and dirty clothes, sand is everywhere, people keep partying and talking on the room in the night and won’t care when asked to be a bit more silent. I’ve stayed in many other hostels and never seen this bad behaving people The bed felt dirty and the sheets were full of old spots. The AC is not on in most parts of the day so it’s impossible to try to get something from the super hot upper bed in the middle of the day. I didn’t get a nice feeling from most of the staff members which is super rare in Cambodia where most of the people have been the nicest I’ve ever met. Long and difficult road to visit the village and hard to get back from there at the evening. There’s really nothing much to do around the hostel than chill on the beach. I booked 3 nights but ended up staying only one and leaving the island because I got so anxious in here. I’m sorry for the bad review but this place is not for people who seek for nice and relaxing time at the island, you only see people relaxing at the morning when they have a hangover. When you travel you just book the accommodations quickly and check the good reviews and might not notice the detail it’s a party hostel.

Moustiques et punaises de lit !!

Bel endroit pour profiter de la plage, très bon emplacement. Bonne ambiance

J’ai malheureusement été dans un lit, je pense, infesté de punaises de lit… je pensais que c’était des moustiques au début mais je me suis retrouvée recouverte de piqures sur tout le corps et surtout la nuit !! Malgré l’emplacement, je suis très déçue, cela a complètement gâchée la fin de mon séjour lorsque je m’en suis rendue compte. Si vous voulez du calme, ne venez pas ici. Bonne ambiance mais de la musique et du bruit jusqu’à minimum minuit. Les femmes de ménages viennent à minuit laver les salles de bain dans les dortoirs ! Des odeurs des toilettes pas agréables non plus

Standard Mad Monkey party scene with below average dorms

Peaceful location for direct beach access with a nice communal bar and hammocks.

The AC unit was set on a timer which didn’t start until 9pm and stopped at 10am. Bathrooms were very small with only 2 per 12 bed dorm and 1 sink between everyone so made it difficult to get use. WIFI was very spotty along with slow food service.

Die Klimaanlage läuft nur von 21-10 Uhr und dann aber so extrem kalt, dass man nachts friert

Entspannung pur, Party bei Nacht

Perfekt um Leute kennen zu lernen. Die Musik war recht laut an der Bar/ Lobby/ Restaurant aber in den Zimmern war nichts davon zu hören. Perfekt um zu entspannen am Tag und feiern in der Nacht. Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer erstaunlich sauber, dafür dass man direkt am Strand lebt.

Du duschen waren leider direkt neben den Toiletten sodass diese immer voller Wasser waren. Aber darüber kann man hinweg sehen

Pleasant

The bunks were a pest to use if you were at the top it was quite high up . The shacks looked like they would be fun to stay in . The location is beautiful and right on the beach. The food was good that you could buy there.

I feel there could have been more activities for people .We paid for kayaking then had to wait and hour for it to start . The staff ( not all ) when I asked questions made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. Hostel could be so much better with enthusiastic staff and more activities put on each day. I think staying in other Mad Monkeys I expected this.

Very good

Good drinks deals, always something going on. Most of the staff are friendly. The private room is nice and spacious with good facilities, however not necessarily worth the price, but good for a decent place to stay on the island.

Nice hostel and best one on the island. Good to meet people there. Staff were accommodating with the storm issues we had. Would go back there.

Electric in our room went off numerous of times. No sun beds or anything to lay on the beach so you have to use your towel. Music played through the day really loud when sometimes you wanted to relax. Food expensive for what it is

It was ok. I wouldn't come back

The location was good. Near the longest pier. A bit far from koh touch but depends what vibe you are going for, if you want party/ drinking this is the place. If you want more chill go to koh touch

The staff was useless. They were not helpful at all. First of all When I checked in, the guy looked like he was done with his job, which was fair enough. But when there was an incoming storm and outgoing ferries were going to be limited or not allowed, they did not tell me at all when I went to the reception, and instead I heard it from another girl in my dorm. Afterwards we waited for hours and hours for a ferry. But nothing. So by the time I checked back in they were fully booked. And I asked how I could get a tuk tuk to koh touch and the guy was like 'i don't know'. Need to work better on training staff to be more helpful and giving betrr experience to travelers

Could’ve been much better, really disappointed with the staff

On the beach and very nice to look out of. Good place to be social.

The staff were not very helpful, it took around 30-40 minutes to check in and I was told there was a 3% card charge but I was charged more than this. When we arrived our shower was broken, the front casing had blown off. We told staff and they said the shower would still work but wouldn’t be hot. I refused to accept this as I did not want to shower in front of open wires because this seems very dangerous. The bed sheets were stained. Eventually they agreed we could change rooms due to these issues but then changed their mind and told us they had not rooms available despite there still be multiple rooms to book online. They fixed our shower and told us someone would be there to change our bed soon however they did not turn up. We stayed for 4 nights and requested our room to be clean everyday (which they offered with a door sign) but it was not clean once in our stay. This negative first impression really set the tone of our stay and really made us not enjoy it as much as we could have. We spoke to multiple staff members including assistant manager but not one offered an apology, we were offered a free drink which we didn’t accept but not an apology.

Location and beach was amazing. Reps were extremely friendly (Joe and En and Nim) - manager was really helpful when we were looking to extend our stay

Staff behind bar were quite slow. Often didn’t take note of who was first in line so ended up waiting a very long time to order

Chill days at fhe Paradise

I was there in the first week that they opened, and it was so nice! The ferry dropped us off at almost right next to the hostel. The best thing was the nice staff, they are a good mix of local and not local people. Especially a big thanks to Joe and Annemijn, to make the days a lot of fun. There were also a lot of activities during the day, that is a great way as a solo traveler to meet new people. If you are down to party, the people here are too, but if you wanna sleep early (like me the last night) the dorms a pretty good sound proof.
