-close to the beach (& nestival)
-clean rooms and premises
-bar & restaurant next door
-pretty good food
price level:
-too expensive for what you get
-scooter rental was usd 12 (had to negotiate to lower the price (something you should not have to do in a hostel for young people). better: scooter rental is usd 9 at the pier
staff/neighbours/surrounding:
-manager and staff not very used to smiling at guests (exception young guy at the bar, he was guest-oriented)
-constant yelling and selling tuktuk men hanging around in front of hostel
-overall low english speaking level
-very loud music from the bar until 02:00 AM (even though no one was there)
room:
-poor wifi connection (like everywhere on the island)
-lacks a bit of furniture even there is enough space in the room (e.g. no second bedside table, no kettle for hot water, no baggage/clothing storage, no large mirror)
-cold shower only
-no table in front of room for having a drink, etc.
