I had a fantastic stay at The Rockside in Scarborough. The hotel is excellent throughout — spotlessly clean, in a great location, and with such a friendly and welcoming team.
The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and everything was really well presented.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Rockside to anyone visiting Scarborough. I'll definitely be staying again.

Room - room is great and comfortable
Breakfast - outstanding!
View - we didn't have much of a view to be honest as we're not facing the sea. But it's okay, easy enough to go out and enjoy the view which is just exactly opposite the hotel. It's also walking distance to the town.
I wish we have a sea view but it doesn't change the fact that we were offered a good room, the breakfast is great too.

Staff/owner were lovely
Benches outside of hotel so could watch the sea
Clean room and shower room
Oak furniture was gorgeous
Decor really nice
The room was small
Breakfast was expensive for what we ate, small full English at £15 pp (were not big breakfast eaters) Would have preferred to pay per item, e.g. full English £9, cereal £2, etc
Shower head was interesting!
Pillows even more interesting!
Bedding seemed quite rough
