We had an excellent welcoming from the host.
The bed and bedding were exceptional..
The breakfast was excellent.
I like the way we chose our breakfast and was shown our table the night before.
It made the morning very relaxing, knowing where to go, and having everything on the table, and breakfasts arrive with no hassle.
Bare in mind it is street parking, with strict restrictions.
We got lucky, as we got a parking space right outside, and we turned up at 5pm, so the restrictions didn't apply after then.
You are allowed 3 hours free parking during restrictions, so your car will be ok during the nights stay.

Excellent breakfast, pre-ordering worked fine. Food was what we ordered, tasty and well-cooked.
Loved decor in dining room.
Bedroom was comfortable, nice linen and towels.
Room was a little small, but as we were only there one night, that wasn’t a problem.
A bit quirky with the shower in the diagonally opposite corner of the room to the en suite but I suppose when fitting modern facilities into a Victorian building, there are compromises.

Window was damaged and had to have a block of wood to keep it open in the heat wave. The bathroom floor was coming up and we had mould on the individual milk carton that we opened from the drink tray. The bathroom had cotton buds in a clear container which were stained I assume from the sun or time.
