The rooms were spacious and conducive to relaxing and virtual work. The kitchen was a major letdown: it lacked some basics; cookware was missing (casseroles and bakeware); only had two cooking utensils that were flimsy plastic. We like to cook on vacation and were very disappointed. Thankfully we had our own casseroles and a saute pan. Close to beach and the Cape Playhouse. Will return.

The property was wonderfully decorated and in perfect, clean condition. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here that is looking for a quiet and safe getaway

We stayed at The Blue Scallop on our first trip to Cape Cod, and it certainly won’t be our last thanks to this great rental. The Blue Scallop is a lovely place that captures the quaintness of Dennis and the Cape, and the little touches of hospitality (coffee and popcorn, soaps and household supplies, and cozy decor) make it feel like it could be home. And don’t dismiss the incredible house handbook—we ate our way through the recommended restaurants, and we were not disappointed. Thanks to the amazing hosts that made this our best rental ever and sparked what will be an annual Labor Day week tradition!
