- NOTE: The home's kitchen was once the main cottage, constructed around the turn of the 20th century, where travelers on the railroad would stop while vacationing in the early 1900s. The original window openings are still highlighted in the kitchen, now repurposed as a spice rack and a coffee nook with a pass-through opening to the living room

This home was absolutely one of my favorite stays! It had everything I needed and more. The views and outdoor area were a huge plus. You feel like you are in the wilderness while having easy access to the main roads and town. The sky at night is breathtaking. The booking process was made easy through Evolve's site. Would recommend and hope to stay here again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute and cozy cabin. We had no problem staying warm and the view was awesome. The location was very convenient to Alamogordo and Cloudcroft.
The bed is a little small for two adults (but it is just too small for a bigger bed) and A light over the stove would be helpful when cooking but otherwise it was perfect for our stay.
