This is an absolute gem of a hotel right in the centre of Santa Lucia, next to so many excellent bars and restaurants. The staff were delightful, and the room was very elegantly appointed.

Giordana at the front desk was the absolute most accommodating and attentive service member. She consistently provided help with transportation, area recommendations, and made reservations for taxis and restaurants —while following up to see how it went (a true top notch hotel front desk/concierge service)! She always asked how we were and if we needed anything. She made our stay personable and enjoyable. Thank you Giordana for being the best part of Altemisia Domus!!
The ground/street entrance to the hotel is odd and can definitely make you feel like you’re in the wrong place when you arrive. However, once you get up to the second floor (which there is a small, older elevator) you realize “oh, this is a hotel.” It is in part of a residential building, where the hotel is on the second floor. The breakfast, make sure you carve out time as there is one individual that provides coffee and omelettes to all guests. He was very pleasant and accommodating but having one person getting the orders and executing them makes it a challenge for that individual and can slow down the process —so plan for some extra time.
