The location is very good – central and close to train stations, yet on a quiet side street. Supermarkets and cafes nearby. The room was clean. The building looked okay to me from the ground floor and courtyard (adding this since there are so many old reviews online saying what a run-down building it was). The manager came by to say hi and also stayed in touch with me via Whatsapp and responded really quickly.
The room didn't look quite like the images. Instead of a sunny room with a large window, I got a dark-ish room on the ground floor next to a door to a fitness studio or something – I wasn't worried about people looking inside, there were curtains, but it was quite loud, especially at night, people were going in and out and talking, and the sound is very loud inside the courtyard. The wallpapers were peeling off in some places. In the bathroom, there was an untreated wall peeling off, probably from humidity.
They don't have an elevator, but the ground floor is also not suitable for anything on wheels (1-2 stairs leading up to the apartment), and there are also no lockers (yet the staff was helpful and recommended me lockers via Whatsapp).

Very close to main bits and shops.

Location was amazing.
The layout of the room was odd with no door on the bathroom, minimal kitchen facilities and a note to say if we didnt wash up we would be charged (1 glass, 2 cups, 2 cutlery). beds were really uncomfortable and a light stayed on outside our room all night.
