Hotel is located in the heart of Canggu which very convenient to just walk around instead of spending time in the traffic. This, however, means that you can hear construction site noise in the morning and beach club music in the evening and night.
Hotel seems to be fairly new and the rooftop are was a nice spot to spend the day by the pool and watch the sunset later.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
The loft rooms bedroom area seems to have a very low ceiling, so we had to report it to the hotel as my husband simply couldn’t stand there, not to mention take a shower etc. The hotel offered paid upgrades to the villa, which we had to take as they did my have any other room type. The villa, however, was a 3 bedroom villa with 2 locked rooms and not a 1 bedroom villa as was offered. So, we had to walk to floors up to get to the bedroom. There was a construction site right next to it. Very interesting way to solve one issue by creating another!
Villas have smart lighting system, so every switch is lighten up no matter what time of a day it is, the A/C shows you what temperature there’s all night too and the wi-fi router is right above the bed. Remember the beach club parties? So, you have a full immersion of being in a spaceship. This was quiet uncomfortable to sleep and there was no way to cover any of it.
Some amenities and towels were not replenished daily.
The pool was very small for a 3 bedroom villa, and also the garden and pool area did not seem to be cleaned or serviced.
Nevertheless, we had enjoyed the spaces and our time time at Secana.

Dining options were great. Staff were great (especially Rian!) In house spa treatments and dining were utilised and appreciated.
