Location was spot on, clean tidy and easy parking

Super cottage and location. Freshly painted with great furnishings. Nice comfortable beds and sofas. Lovely congenial dining room. Outside sitting area was a bonus. Well thought through and good use of space throughout. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and more besides (coffee pods). Nice little touches e.g. torch/night lights made getting to the loo in the night a breeze. On street parking great. Neighbours were lovely. Would have given 10/10 if it hadn't been for initial glitch with the key.
I didn't receive the correct key code for the door. The one supplied didn't work and host confirmed the correct one was sent by email but bounced back. Some waiting around (my friends who arrived before I did)/interrupted journey (me) to phone the host (no reply but they called back in approx 30 mins). Host didn't have code because cleaners set it each time they go in. A bit more waiting to get the code. Not a great start but resolved in 1 hour. This is only criticism. Rest was top! Please review code access going forward. V confusing to have code on pdf supplied then turning out to be the wrong entry code.

Clean, spacious and very comfortable, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. 2 modern and very pleasant bathrooms. The town has some great pubs and restaurants and the surrounding countryside is very pretty with many scenic walks.
The front bedroom is close to the road with some traffic noise at times.
