Cable tv quit working about 5 mins after the staff had left for the night. No contact info for hotel personnel available for any problems that occurred

Clean place, friendly check-in. Very quiet and the place shares a HUGE parking lot with Timmerman's Supper club. Had a nice dinner and slept like a baby.

First, I'd like to talk about the things I really liked about this place. The check-in lady was extremely polite and friendly and helpful. The location is great, very close to downtown Dubuque and situated next to a wonderful restaurant called Timmerman's supper club where the food is fantastic. The place was extremely quiet, no slamming of doors throughout the evening to make sleep difficult, which is something that I really hate about most hotels in urban areas. Everything in the room was relatively clean.
Negatives were few, but substantial enough to mention. When I turned on the water for the bathtub, it ran completely brown for about a minute, extremely hard water and it look like it had not been run for a very long time. I can also taste the impurities in my coffee. The worst negative was the bed, which was hard as a rock. To offset this, they provided four pillows for each of the beds, so I made myself a platform of pillows to lay on, at about 4:00 a.m., which seemed to help a lot.
Also on Expedia, they said that the bathtub would have jets, which I was looking forward to, but was not the case. This place is pretty bare bones on the second floor. I guess the first floor has beds with some sort of electrical life force generators and probably has more amenities but is significantly more expensive. That's what the front desk lady told me. I might have to come back here sometime and try those out.
All in all, not a bad place to stay if you can tolerate very firm mattres

We didn't know that there was a continental l breakfast which was a good surprise.
Looked at the swimming pool and it was dirty.
Was somewhat disappointed with the bathroom . I prefer having the sink, tub, and toilet in one room.
Really didn't pay any attention to the area around the property.

It was fine. However not having anyone on the grounds at night was a bit of a concern especially since another guest got locked out. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone for a long time. The water in the shower when turned out came out rusty.

The staff was very kind. The bed I slept in was exceptionally comfortable. It was very quiet. The lobby was very nice. I will stay there again with family.

Location was good for what our plans are. We paid for a suite with a jetted tub and we’re disappointed. The cold water on the tub was not hooked up. We filled the tub with hot water but it was not clear water. We did not get in. When we drained the tub there was silt or mud left in it. The suite did have a flat screen TV, but it was very small for the size of the room. The lady that checked us in and out was pleasant. Next time we are I the area we will stay somewhere else. It was not worth the money.

To summarize this property: it's in a bad state of repair. The kind that makes you feel unsafe. As soon as you step inside, it smells of old cigarette smoke. The interior is in dire need of an remodel - it's looks like nothing has been updated since the 1960's.
The room has steel beams visible on the ceiling. The bathroom was very small - it felt like someone threw a bathtub in a closet. The water that came out of the shower was brown for several minutes and smelled awful.

Appears to be recently acquired older property that the new owner is rehabilitating. The beds were comfortable. Everything is very small. We were having to check in after 4:00 PM and due to numerous stop lights, a very slow route we didn't arrive until 10:00 PM. The desk person stayed until we checked in then she locked the doors. We were unable to return to our car for something we wanted out of our car. I believe there were only two rooms rented out that night.

I'm sure it will be beautiful when finished remodeling. My stay was very quiet. My bed was super comfy, room was very clean. Would have like a vending machine with drinks, but the convenience store is just down the road. They could definitely use more emplyees. There really was no staff the entire weekend i was there. I will definitely stay there again. Once they get all the links worked out it will be a phenomenal place to stay.

I would stay again. I thought the beds were a little to hard (personal preference) but I failed to being my camping memory foam on this trip.
I loved having a front door, comp breakfast, and there was a fabulous supper club accross the huge parking lot. There was a great golf course up the road too!
We had a concert at the Q Casino, and it was easy to get pickup and dropped off at the hotel.
Would stay again. The energy was good (we did have a med bed room). I can’t say I felt the life force energy but I am a believer that these tings do exists.
We got a deal with orbitz, but the regular room rate is competitive with the rest of the area.
Again, I would stay again!

Went there to check in and it is no longer a hotel anymore. It said no public access. Never got a call or message.

Very run down room with scratches and black marks all over the walls and ceiling tile damage. No lamp shade on main light. Scratches on furniture. Pool closed for “maintenance” and was murky green. Continental breakfast small packaged sweets. Bed clean and comfortable.

It was a room to sleep in. Driving up, the property was rough to look at and I was nervous what the inside was going to look like. The lobby was nicely decorated, the person checking us in was nice. Once out of the lobby, it was clear it was older and just "OK". Sure could use some updating. We chose to take the stairs. The heaters were on so high it was suffocating in the hallway, and the room heater was on as well. I shut both of them off. The room was ok, small bathroom, comfortable bed but there was a very big brown stain on the mattress...water damage I hope...??? The ceiling looked as if there were leaks, pieces were falling down. There were bugs on the wall, and so MANY of them dead and alive inside the window. The screen was not attached to the window properly. Sign said ice machine/vending....no vending machine and the ice machine spit ice all over the floor because it came out so fast. At some point, the door key stopped working and I had to let my husband in every time he went out and the handle/lock seemed to be broken or something. Shower had low pressure but my husband didn't seem to mind it. When I first turned the water on, brown water came out. Like I said, it was a place to sleep...but we probably won't stay there again unless it is fixed up a bit. I think the problems are easily fixable. If they tended to them, we may revisit.

Bed was way to hard. Water when i started the shower was brown. Pool was closed and was really hoping to soak in the hot tub. Recommended place to get a bite to eat was a high end supper club, not what i was looking for.

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The rooms were dirty the elevator stop between floors and the door opens up between floors yes between floors. The coffee machine was dirty the pool was closed . This place was a total wreck . I will never go back and I have pics I will send out for people to see .

Bathroom light flickered by the end of stay was not working. When i booked hotel it did not say pool is close but get there and they have a sign pool closed due to maintenance. Free breakfast was all cold food. Will not stay again.

The guy at the desk was so friendly! What I didn't like was the bugs all over the room! They looked like June bugs! Also we went for the pool and sauna and those were out of order! Also for breakfast we were hoping for hot breakfast and cereal they had just juice and coffee cakes that was it!

The place is a dive. No locks on the doors. No shades on the lights and 2 did not light at all. People next were very loud at 11:00 PM and no one did any thing about. Shower was missing on and off handle. If you want a nice stay DO NOT STAY HERRE

The place was SO TERRIBLE we wouldn't stay there. How can this place stay open? Take them off your Hotels.com site! A refund would be appreciated.

Was disappointed when arrived that the pool was closed for maintenance. They told me they let Hotel.com know and they should of notified me. They told my husband the real reason they closed it was they couldn't find a service to clean it. The breakfast was was just a few things. Not a clean motel. Side door was broke and the facility wasn't locked for the night. Will never go back☹️

$100/night. With that in mind, I didn't have any exceedingly high expectations. Just a clean bed, average continental breakfast and average facility/amenities. I made the mistake of not seeing the pool was closed prior to booking so that was on me. However, the facility is not well maintained. Definitely needs updating. We chose not to ride on the elevator because we thought it was going to break down at any point. Very worn down look and smell. The "continental" breakfast was deceiving. It showed pictures of a hot breakfast but "due to Covid" they only had prepackaged donuts, muffins, etc. I The water also smelled had an off smell and a light rust color to it. It was definitely not worth $100/night for a clean bed in an unkempt facility with no pool or real breakfast. Something closer to $70/night would have been a much more reflective price

This facility such poor everything!! The room was just flat out disgusting. i cannot tell you how many bugs we killed crawling on the walls. The ceiling was black and parts were coming down. Honestly to pay anything for this room was embarrassing

We checked in and checked right back out. Our room had mold and bugs all over it. The lobby smelled of smoke and just didn't look clean
