About this house rental
Relax in our spacious and peaceful Coastal Cottage. Centrally located, 20 minutes from beaches, downtown Charleston, 15 minutes to airport & 5 minutes from Daniel Island where there are walking trails, restaurants, grocery store, and much more! Guests have access to our dock for fishing, enjoying our epic sunsets, as well as beach chairs/umbrella/cooler. Other amenities include tree swings, board games, & more! In March 2025, a R/O system was installed on the well to resolve the water having sulfur smell. The water is now perfect! allow Up to 2 pets, each less than 50lbs.

Host was responsive, cooperative and friendly. House was clean and check-in was easy.The biggest issue was that the listing was misrepresented. The online pictures made it appear that the pier/dock was visible from the cottage. It was not. There is a yellow house between the cottage and the pier/dock. You have to go through a gate to get to the dock on either side of the yellow house. Additionally, the primary suite bathroom has no privacy because there is no door between the bedroom and bathroom. Please change either the pictures or the description to accurately depict the view. There may be epic sunsets from the dock but you cannot see it unless you walk past the yellow house and walk out on a dock that needs repair.

Home was clean and neat. We loved the kitchen/dining areas. The porches were also amazing. Listing was accurate but picture and info on access to the dock not quiet clear or what we had expexted. Very pet friendly! We had an amazing stay and our host was fabulous!
