High point was the proximity to the historic center of the city centre. Accommodation was simple but just right. Breakfast minimal but sufficient.

Nice stay-except for the steps. It’s a very old building, 3rd floor, high ceilings, no elevator. I was not expecting so many steps and with a problem knee it was rough. The A/C worked well, bed was comfortable with nice linens and the staff were very nice and helpful. Right beside Mercato, which is nice- but you have to run the gauntlet of leather hawkers everytime you arrive or depart. Overall good stay, but those steps were brutal.

Our room was very clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. It is located in a great location and very walkable to everything, however our room was a bit noisy because of the nearby markets, restaurants and bars.

Great place to stay in Florence. Just note that you are right in the heart of the leather market and if you are a light sleeper, you will hear them setting up (they start early in the morning). We had a great stay, would stay here again.
